Traders traveling in China during the 18th century brought back carved Mother of Pearl Gaming chips. During the 1700's to 1800's these became all the rage in Europe, and were ordered made by royalty, often with a family crest or special design on them . Some simply reflected scenes from Chinese life at the time.

This one is a long oval shape. It is set in a 14 Karat Handmade Gold Pendant and accented with an American Fresh Water Pearl and a .07 Carat Diamond. It depicts a Pagoda and a raised building and floral patterns.
